We are sending a basket of a scarlet bromeliad and gold kalanchoe with the card saying:

Semper Fi, Neil
From the Vietnam Veterans of Bravo Battery 1st Bn 12th Marines 1965-1969

To all Marines. Especially Bravo Bty. 1st Bn. 12th Marines. What an honor it is to Neil, to see so many caring fellow Marines. The services in Lubbock were on a beautiful sunny morning. The Marine honor guard put an extra lump in my throat. Not only for Neil but to see such a wonderful representation of young Marines. My children and I thank each one of you for your thoughts and prayers. As hard as it is I know he is not hurting and on those streets of gold. The flowers were very much appreciated and very lovely. We appreciate your caring. God bless you all.

Neil Molsbee, 74, of Fort Worth and previously, Lubbock, went to be with his Lord and Savior May 11, 2008. Neil was born November 13, 1933, in Nocona, Texas. He married the love of his life, Carolyn, on February 26, 1955.
He graduated in 1951 from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City and began his career in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He served in the Korean War and was the Commanding Officer of Molsbee's Mighty Mortars during the Vietnam War, and retired in 1972 at the rank of Major. After military retirement, he had his own business as a heavy equipment claims adjuster in Lubbock, Texas. He was a member of Bacon Heights Baptist Church and was active in the Senior Choir.
